MoMa from Hamburg tells us that Bravo Disco took place on the 21st September and was published in Bravo teen magazineon the 6th October 1977.
The 15 September's edition of Bravo magazine promoted "next week's Bravo Disco concert in Mainz with The Clash (!), Frank Zander, Elke Best and Rosetta Stone." Bravo Magazine: The Clash links
Bravo Magazine had introcuced The Clash in their edition of Bravo of 4 November 1976; "introducing new punk-rock band Clash."
And in Bravo's 6th October edition it states that the band had been uninvited from Musikladen TV show.
In an interview with Swiss No Fun magazine Joe Strummer talks about the concert and the appearance on Musikladen TV show.
Rosetta Stone were a Northern Irish pop rock band from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, which included the ex-guitarist of the Bay City Rollers, Ian Mitchell. In early 1976, Mitchell left the Young City Stars to join the Bay City Rollers. Mitchell would return later that year as the group, now managed by Rollers manager Tam Paton, changed their name to Rosetta Stone.
Joe Strummer, "[Yes], I really didn't know whats going on. There were only 10 to 15 aged Bay City Roller Fans in the hall. There were guys at the show, we never have heard about them before - we were convulsed with laughter.
They played playback (mimed) only making their futzing moves - and the kids were already screaming. We did play some titles live - we were completely misplaced and fucked off. It was similar in this TV-Show "Musikladen" ?
Yes, we had to play playback. But we have never made that before and we will never do it. We are musicians not comedians. Then they left us waiting in a room for 2 hours, it was not something we can abide. Ok, we smashed a lamp and some cans were lieing around. Afterwards it was said we smashed the studio. But beside that we had a lot of fun in Germany?"
Only two weeks to go until the hottest show in September:

Wherever they appear, they meet rejection. That was the case on TV, in music shops, and in clubs.
In the houses and schools, posters were torn down. On doors hung warning signs: “Danger! Locker opened!” At the entrances: “Warning! Entering at your own risk!” In cellars and halls, curtains were torn down, windows smashed, and naked light bulbs hung from the ceiling. That is how their rehearsal rooms looked.
In the beginning they were often thrown out. In Germany, a “music shop” in Bremen refused to let them play because they would not perform using playback. But they kept going.
Joe Strummer had already caused trouble before. As a street musician and singer he had played everywhere. Nicky Headon spent months sleeping rough. Paul Simonon lived from odd jobs. Mick Jones came from London, grew up there, and knew the streets.
They played an open-air festival and poured their anger into the crowd. Bottles flew, chairs broke, and guitars smashed. Someone was hit in the throat. Clash were declared enemies.
But they were not simply destructive. Their anger had a reason. They sang about unemployment, violence, boredom, and fear. They shouted what many felt but did not dare to say.
Night after night they stood on stage and pushed everything to the limit. Their songs were short, loud, and aggressive. Their look was deliberate: torn clothes, safety pins, boots.
They did not want to be stars. They wanted to be heard.

German Fanzine with tour dates...
This zine excerpt captures the raw energy of The Clash 's 1977 German tour. It describes a chaotic performance, a hated opening act, and the frantic excitement of following the band.

(5) Exceptionally stupid opening act. They play some piece of shit called Every human must be alone sometimes and get whistled off the stage properly, and after 3 songs we’ve had enough and we kick them out. The singer is a stupid dog and pours beer on my head. Then finally the stage is reset. Rodent and his gang do what they can. When the curtain opens again, they are already standing on stage tuning the guitars.
London’s Burning...
Munich too. Police & Thieves , Remote Control , Simonon has Patti Smith pictures on his back. Baker howling, Janie Jones , 48 Hours , Protex Blue , Deny , I’m So Bored With The USA ... Mick thrashes his guitar as if it were a sow ready for slaughter... Strummer’s voice gives out during What’s My Name ... then silence. Joe says Sheets... laughing... silent sheets... or something like that... then 48 Hours again, then Complete Control , then encore White Riot , Hate & War , Career Opportunities , then gone. Gone, gone, gone. Me too, I’m wrecked, it was leg-en-dary.
So, people, now it’s really starting, now the boss is cooking—or better said, Jones’ Janie has left Xerox for 3 days and has returned with some good stuff.
Gogogogogogogo...

From October 4th–6th in fucking Germany - The Clash . Rumors 3 weeks beforehand, it was said they might come to Cologne , but nobody knew anything for sure. At the end of September, someone shoves a teeny-zine into my hand (no names) tour dates- Clash 4.10. Munich , 5.10. Frankfurt , 6.10. Hamburg . Shit. The greatest heroes of modern times are coming here—to where—the usual, see Ostrich No. 4 for comments. But in the week before, a totally stupid idea comes to me. How about,
Left Column (Page 5)
London’s Burning...
München auch. Police & Thieves , Remote Control , Simonon hat Patti Smith Bilder auf seinen Rücken. Baker geulert, Janie Jones , 48 Hours , Protex Blue , Deny , I’m So Bored With The USA ... Mick drischt in seine Gitarre als wäre sie eine schlachtreife Sau... Strummer’s Stimme geht bei What’s My Name kaputt... dann Ruhe. Joe sagt Laken... Lachen... Silent Laken... oder so... dann nochmal 48 Hours dann Complete Control dann Zugabe White Riot , Hate & War , Career Opportunities dann weg. Weg, weg.
